I suppose this is the place where I tell you a little about myself so that you can start to feel a personal connection with me. I should make it clear that I’m a great photographer. Yet, I need to be careful not to toot my horn too loudly. I should be humble, but at the same time cool. By the end, you should want to hang with me.

Well, to tell you the truth, I’m still trying to figure out who the person inside this bag of skin is. Right now, I know I prefer to be outside in a kayak, on my bike, under a backpack, or on my snowboard, and I always try to have my camera with. Beyond that… who knows.

Everything about photography is just… Neat. And to be honest, I’m still learning. Every day I am learning. I am always amazed by what my camera sees, and how it sees whatever “IT” is. Anyway, I don’t believe that this need to make images is going to go away any time soon, so hopefully I can find a productive outlet for it.

Recently, I have I decided to make the transition from avid enthusiast with too much gear, to adequately equipped, aspiring professional. I’m interested in shooting anything and everything. I want to explore the possibilities, and not limit myself. Photography has so many little nooks and crannies, and I don’t want to overlook anything.

So, if you are looking for high quality photography don’t hesitate to contact me. If you are looking for someone to climb, hike, or paddle somewhere to take pictures… definitely contact me. I’ve been at this for 18 years, and I think that I’ve become pretty ok at it. I’m not afraid of hard work, and mediocrity scares me. I look forward to working with new people, testing my current skills, adding new ones, and I try not to be a dick.

Anyway, I appreciate you spending the time required to read this far. If you are interested in what I’m currently working on, or want to know what I’m doing right this instant:
