So, it rained today… Yeah, so what did I do?
I got out the camera, flash, a pan of water, and made some images of some water drops. Actually, I made a lot of images of water drops. Once I had my rig and flash setup, I set the camera to continuous and just held down the shutter. Even then I only have about 20 images that I think are decent, and the five you see here are the more interesting of those. In all I took almost 1000 images.
Anyway, just thought I would throw these out there.
Camera settings – 50mm f1.8 @ f8, 1/250, ISO 400, strobed fired with ttl-cord. SB-800 set to manual and 1/32 power. This gave me plenty of light and allowed the flash to recycle fast enough to keep up with the D300 on continuous.
Hope someone finds this interesting.
