So, I found out yesterday that my camera is busted. More specifically the LCD on my little P&S spontaneously developed a series of cracks rendering it unusable. Now, if I had dropped it, crashed with it in my pocket, or done anything else that could possibly have damaged it I wouldn’t be so upset. The other thing that’s annoying is that it still works and takes pictures, but without the LCD and no viewfinder, I can’t frame pictures effectively and have no idea what mode it is in. I can’t change the flash mode, or change the exposure compensation values. It’s pretty much useless now.
I do have a nice SLR, so it’s not like I am without a camera. But, the broken one was waterproof and supposedly shockproof and it was the one that allowed me to take pictures while kayaking and biking. I don’t know if I can make it through the summer without something like this. That is why I am now searching the interweb and ebay for a cheap replacement. Anyway…
I do have a pic of my new mountain bike (above). It’s all ready to go and is waiting patiently on the porch for the rest of the snow to melt and the trails to dry out. In the meantime, I am trying to get back into running because it looks like Mari and I will be doing the Copperman triathlon later this summer. Well, that’s about it. No, that really is it.
